AM335x DCAN module - RAM parity

Hi,

Why does the RAM of the DCAN module implements parity error detection?
Is this RAM more susceptible to errors than the other on chip RAMs?

The explanation is that the DCAN module is designed and licensed this way. AM335X TRM, Rev.H, page 3879: "The core IP within DCAN is provided by Bosch".

So there is no reason to suppose that this RAM is more error prone than any other?
