Hello everyone.
I am currently studying the dm8107 component because I would like to integrate it in a custom board.
My choice is on this component mainly for reasons of electric consumption.
With the DM8107 component, I wish to encode two-way 1080p30 or one-way 1080p60 and ona-way audio.
If I look at the datasheet of this component that I could get through Texas, this component is quite capable of achieving what I want.
However, I ask alot of questions about the software support for this component.
1) I understand believed that this component will bring alot of DM8148 component. Is this true?
2) If so then I use the DM8148 EZSDK to make my development?
3) Next, is what I'm going from ESDK order to simultaneously encode two HD channels? (Via the two ports of catches, with one or capture port but with the multiplexed video channels).
4) Always from EZSDK, can be compressed in all video resolutions?
5) For the audio, I've worked with EVM8168, and it seems that the audio compression was performed by the DSP DM8168 component. On the DM8107, how is this achieved compression, is it purely software (ARM)?
6) Finally, is it possible to achieve all these function with the OMX layer EZSDK?
That's alot of questions, but if someone could inform me that would help me a lot.
