C6678 power failure

   when we use the JTAG to connect the C6678 and download the code, the C6678 run a while ,it then tip the power failure. we cannot find the reason.But we use the linear power to support the power ,it does not tip the power failure.when we use the switching power supply, it tips the power failure.

    What's the case temp of the devices when the failure occurs?

    When plugging this in to the power consumption spreadsheet (found with the Models in the TMS320C6678 <- Product Page) with the other utilization factor, what's the power consumption for the failing supply?

    What's the CVDD supply voltage level?  Did you implement Smart Reflex as required?

    What power supply are you using, and do you follow the recommendations for decoupling capacitance from the HW Design Guideline?

    Is this your design?  Have you run the same code on an EVM?

    hello xing wang:

           How did  you solve your problem?

           when I use Jtag emulator to connect my target board whith  multi C6678s , after running a while , CCS will show  'target failure' or 'trouble reading PC register' messages, then the jtag chain connection halt.

          Another problem : the jtag connection speed is too slow.
