How to use the internal On-Chip ROM of c5515

Hello,

A C5515 has 128K of internal On-chip ROM why its not used ,data sheet says its included with a BOOTLOADER

i dont think the bootloader is that heavy why TI is wasting the large memory

by the way what type of memory is the internal on-chip thing is EE or Flash or NAND or NOR?

You cannot use on-chip ROM as it was designed as a Real Only Memory. Write access to this memory is not allowed from user programs. ROM has codec tables and other standard APIs along with bootloader code. You can refer to section 1.1 of Bootloader document for the contents of on-chip ROM.

you document gives just a brief overview of the boot loader how coud i make use of apis present in that are they of internal usage ? or users are restricted why there is no document or user manual regarding the boot loader
