Unexpected Exception while opening XGCONF

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Hi,

I am using 6678 / Windows XP / CCSv5.

I am having some problems using the GUI for viewing/changing the .cfg files.  I am trying to examine the included components of the example project (ndk/helloworld) but when I try to see the .cfg files using XGCONF I get the following error: (I get this error when I right click on my .cfg file on project explorer>open with>XGCONF)

Sorry, I'm having problems creating this editor. An unexpected exception was thrown.

org.eclipse.rtsc.xdctools.INTERNAL: Unable to find package xconfig_helloWorld

any suggestions?

Thanks.

  • Tunc,
which version of CCSv5 and XDCtools are you using?
Can you try to edit the shortcut that you use to start CCSv5, and '-console' option to the command line? The target field in your shortcut should look similar to this:
    C:\ti\ccsv5\eclipse\ccstudio.exe -console

As a result, CCS will start a command window in addition to the main CCS app. Try to open your CFG script and when it fails, go to the command window and post its content here.
