Can C6678 SGMII port connect to Fiber module directly?

Hi All:

We want to connet the ethernet port of C6678 to Fiber module directly through SGMII interface.

But I see in datasheet of C6678 that only SGMII mode is mentioned, 1000BASE-X mode is not mentioned.

I think 1000BASE-X mode should be used for connecting to fiber module, am I right?

Can C6678 be connected to fiber module directly?
