C64P DSPLIB Assembly language code.

Hi:

I installed the C64P DSPLIB under C:\ti\dsplib_c64Px_3_1_1_1\components\ti\dsplib\src.

However, what I am finding is only C code for all the functions, except for the FFT. Where is the assembly language code for the all the DSPLIB functions?

Hi Mushtaq,

Most of the functions in the DSPLIB are written in optimized C which uses C64x+ intrinsics to optimize the performance functions. For all the functions in the library you will find a *_cn.c file and a .c file. The *_cn.c file contains the function written in natural C code while the .c file will contain the function written using intrinsics. Intrinsics make the function more interpretable and in most cases can give upto 95% performance tuning of code. The are also easily callable from natural C code.
