Hi,

We need to use Gpio lines GPI03_4 and Gpio2_20 as Gpio Lines, Below is list of doubts

As per the AM3359, Technical reference manual ( TRM) Page number 755-756,

1) Which configuration Address to be used to configure Gpio2_20 as GPIO line ( TRM Page 755-756) ?

2) GPIO3_4 is muliplexed with " MCASP0_ACLKR " ( as per TRM page 755-756 the address is 9A0)

3) GPIO0_8 is multiplexed with MCASP0_ACLKR ( 9A0 ) and LCD_DATA12 (8D0) , Which address to use 9A0 or 8D0 If we use addess 9A0 it is already multiplexed with GPIO3_4, should we use LCD_DATA12 (8D0) ?

Hi Bindu,

The pinmux register naming convention is "conf_<pin name>", where pin name is taken from the pin function in Mode 0. You can find register offsets in the AM335X TRM, Rev.H, starting from p.758, and pin names can be seen in the AM335X Datasheet, Rev.F, Table 2-7.

Gpio2_20 : Muxing information obtained Revision F, Table 2-7 , page 39

( GMII1_RXD1/RMII1_RXD1/RGMII1_RD1/MCASP1_AXR3/MCASP1_FSR/EQEP0_STROBE/MMC2_CLK/GPIO2_20)

But did not find the configuration for these mux lines in TRM Revision H, page 758

Can we configure Gpio2_20, as GPIO line? , when we did not find the Muxing information in Configuration for address.(Revision H, page 758)

The register is named conf_mii1_rxd1. Look in the column "PIN NAME" in Table 2-7.

Hello!

Could someone help me... Why there is no CM_PER_GPIO3_CLKCTRL definition in arch/arm/include/asm/arch-ti81xx/cpu.h?

Ofcourse i can add this definition , but i can't understand which the considerations SDK developers were guided by...
