On our Am335x board we will use EMMC. Of course empty EMMC is soldered.
in order to simplify EMMC programming procedure, we imagined to use approach presented in picture.
Practically, in phase of Power_ON (first power up, programming) we will via external tool HOLD RST* signal
of AM335X in order to take EMMC bus control . Practically,
AM335x remains on RESET all time
We can't see some drawback.
What is your opinion about it ? Is there some hidden issues or maybe some better procedure.
