I work on DM8148 platform and use DVRRDK_03.00.00.00 to develop our system.
We want to change TVP5158 with other decoder on our custom board because cost issue.
I have found out that the setting of TVP5158 in AP is DEVICE_CAPT_VIDEO_CAPTURE_MODE_MULTI_CH_PIXEL_MUX_EMBEDDED_SYNC mode.
As I know, it means 4-ch pixel interleaved mode and not line interleaved mode.
Since it's capture mode is 4-ch pixel interleaved, so I guess tvp5158 could be replaced with tvp5156,tvp5157 or other decoder like tw2866, am I right?
I have no idea if tvp5156,tvp5157 or other decoder like tw2866 is cheaper than tvp5158, I just wonder if what I guess is correct.
Please kindly give me your suggestion.
