Hi,all.
Is 4460 software and pin to pin compatible to 4430? If I want to use 4460 instead of 4430 in previous products, what aspect should I pay attention to?
Regards.
Sean

They are not 100% pin compatible. You need to go through TRM and data manual to understand the differences.
Hi, Mayank,
Is there any document to summarize the differences? It's time-consuming to go through TRM to find out the differences.
Regards.

Hi Sean,
There is TRM delta document available.

Hi Sean,
Just an addition small warning as 4460 draw more current on MPU rail than 4430 in its max mode => You need to have a setup with two PMICs. I.e. as described here: http://nishanthmenon.blogspot.dk/2012/02/measuring-boot-voltage-on-pandaboard-es.html. If you today power your 4430 design only by TWL6030 you need to change this as well.
Last but not least some balls have changed default/reset state (high/low). In order for you to find those, I guess you need to compare the Data Manuals (DM), as I'm not sure the above referred delta document mention those?...
Best regards - Good luck with your update
