ICE: EtherCAT example stops to work

Hello,
I'm running the EtherCAT example using the AM3359 ICE Board (Industrial Communication Engine) and TwinCAT (on a Windows XP PC) as EtherCAT master.

The example works well for a while and then stops trying continuously to reconnect the PC and the board (My Ethernet controller was in the "Incompatible devices" list). The error occurrence is randomic. To restart the example I need to restart both the PC and the board.

What is the problem? Should I replace the PC? Is it a TwinCAT problem?

Simone,

with the limited info provided here we can't say. It is usually necessary to use a supported combination of Ethernet device and TwinCAT. But that is not under our control obviously. I can just state that we have demos using our EtherCAT ESC on AM335x (ICE boards too) that are running for days and weeks without issues. And we usually stress the system as we are running DC mode at cycle times of 200us.
