The vga;s output is connected to a video filter with gain = 2.
How to adjust vga to make it NOT dark?

Please check the datasheet. The required gain for the output buffer is 5.6x.
The THS7360 buffer is specifically designed for this.

The solution was to use the correct video buffer.
As mentioned in both the datasheet and the post above the output needs to be gained by 5.6x and not 2x as the original poster was doing.

Thinks for your enthusiastic reply.
But I am Sorry, I still don't know how to do it.
The following are my questions.
1. what is the 5.6x for output buffer? Where there is introduced in the documentation <<ths7360>>?
2. With DVRRDK4.0.3, Where is the setting? How to use this version to modify?
BR,
Arvin
Thankx, I get it, it means that i only need to modify its hardware, not for software(DVRRDK).
I will do the test and confirm it with Hardware Developer.

Arvin
Check the DM8168 datasheet section I mentioned earlier, it has a diagram showing what is required. The THS7360 is designed specifically for the DM8168 and has the required gains and configuration.
