MPEG4 ENC/DEC c64x+ doesn't work

Can you tell us your working scenario that how you are trying to implement video codec?

tell us your error what you are facing?

have you develop any application code for that if so please share it so we can analyze it.

The main problem is that the functions algAlloc(), algInit(), process(), activate(), deactivate(), so functions from library don't work. I have InterruptDefault and program crushed when I try tu call these functions. I have example from TI but it doesn't work. 

Can you tell me which example you are exactly using in your program.

Like if you are using codec engine then tell me which example present in which directory.

So i will try to see that example.

We have only one example in this library, the path:

c64xplus_mpeg4enc_02_02_04_production\c64xplus_mpeg4enc_02_02_04_production\packages\ti\sdo\codecs\mpeg4enc\app\Client\Build\TestAppEncoder.pjt

This is the project for ccs 3.3, I import it to ccs 5.3.

I think this is problem with memory, big size of stack doesn't help.

another error is undefinied symbol BCACHE_wbInvAll(); which I think is connected to version of BIOS or target.

so nobody can help me here?

I manage to solve my problem with interrupt. Now  I go to ALG_create(), but algInit() doesn't return IALG_EOK and my program works bad.

Why when I have algInit:

fxns->algInit(alg, memTab,p, params); -------> doesn't work

and when I have:

fxns->algInit(alg, memTab,p, NULL);-----------> works  but LATER my program crash

Then I think some create-time/static param setting is wrong. Please check user guide for the values you are setting.

This is the stucture of IALG_Params. 

typedef struct IALG_Params {

and when I run  exacly:

fxns->algInit(alg, memTab,p, (IALG_Params) params);

that's means I send only size to this function right? No all parameters.

I can see that in your shared main file, you are assigning size as - 

params.size = sizeof(IMP4VENC_Params);

So this means you are setting extended class size but not assigning any values to params.

Do you want to use extended or base class?

No, I set parameters earlier:

and then I set size.

First we'll bring up basic functionality.

Here extn_params is assumed to be of type - IMP4VENC_Params

what is the param structure type you have defined? I'm assuming it is IVIDENC1_Params. Otherwise please change it.

Yes, the strucuture is IVIDENC1_Params,  I changed the settings like you but the function algInit() still returns -1 so this is not good.

Can you please share the complete test app you are using?
