Does DM814x support SPI flash > 16MB as boot device ?

The SPI boot size is small, in the EZSDK/PSP implementation is even smaller than 16MB:

It seems that the limitation is ROM code can't access that large space but we can use larger flash depends on its type.

Please correct me.

Per my understanding we can use larger than 16MB Flash memory, but we can use only 16MB of it for SPI boot (u-boot.min.spi + u-boot.bin + uImage). Then we can have more than 16MB for the file system.
