Does anyone know when the TMS32TCI6614 will be available for purchase?  There is currently no option within the 'Sample & Buy' link.  Alternatively, does anyone know of a TI chip that is similar that is available for purchase now?

    Rich,

    TCI66xx devices are only provide to a limited customer base, they are also not supported on the E2E forum, but supported through local Field Applications Engineers.

    You will need to contact your local TI Field Sales Office to discuss availability of such devices for purchase.  

    There is not a general available devices with the full feature set of the TMS320TCI6614 devices.

    Chad,

    Thank you very much for the quick reply.  The aspect requirement that i'm looking for is a SOC with a transmission range of 30km or less (per this PDF, the TMS320TCI6614 devices could conceivably reach this range) - basically, the greatest range SOC with availability now.  Would you have any recommendations?  

    Obviously, 30 kms is a far range with today's white spectrum 'wifi', but any currently available chip with the greatest range could still meet my needs.
