OMAP3530 DSP EDMA

Hi all,

I want to use DSP's EDMA to copy data from GPMC which is connected to FPGA. I found an API, CSL, that simplifies EDMA programming, but C64x on the OMAP 35x is not supported by CSL.

can anyone point me to a tutorial on EDMA programming. Is there an API like CSL for C64x on OMAP35x?

Hi,

I am using linux OS with BeagleBoard toolchain set up for cross compilation. Communication between DSP and GPP is working (POOL, MSGQ).
I want to use EDMA for transfering data from GPMC.

Hi all,

I got it working. I was able to make transfer from GPMC controlled memory to DSP buffer using EDMA3. I also was able to generate an interrupt on the completion of the transfer.
