How to use ipipe of DM368 to do special resize?

Hi,

I have a job to do the following work, like the image show.

The back frame was stored in SDRAM, and It was send to IPIPEIF, but I only need the red sub-frame to do resize, and the output is the blue one. Is the IPIPE supported this solution?

Zhang,

Can you be bit more clear? What is that you are trying? Do you want to scale up the CIF frame cropped from 1080p frame to a 720p frame?

Please also check the parameters that you are passing.

Hi Renjith Thomas,

What I want to do is that, I have a frame data with bayer format, resolution is 1920*1080. then I want to cut out a sub-frame from the bayer frame, The sub-frame will be resized form the resolution of sub-frame to 720P, that is resize frame from 352*288 to 1280*720.

Hi Zhang,

Its little tricky, but its possible to do it. You'll have to configure the ISIF to crop the image and dump to memory and then use resizer to do it.

You will need to do following:

1. set input resolution to 352pix X 288pix.

2. Set input pitch to 1920.

3. Set output frame to 1280x720. The resizer will do upscale from 352x288 and output 1280x720.
