am335x pin modes table

Dear all,

I searched a lot without succes for a table (pdf, html, txt, whatever..) of the pin modes for the am335x.

I know that TI provides the pin mux utility but I'm developing on a linux host so I can't run it (and I do not want to go for a virtual machine..lack of resources).

I founded the table on the beaglebone manual, but it refers (obviously) only on the pin wich they export on the headers.

Hi Giuseppe,

Look at Table 2-7 in the AM335X Datasheet, Rev.F. There is a column named "Mode". For each multimuxed pin the pinmodes are listed there.

Giuseppe,

Something I forgot to tell you about the Pinmux tool: If you are designing a custom board it's strongly advised to use it. The tool has several preset I/O sets for each peripheral, that have been tested and validated. These are OK to use, as well as subsets derived from them. I/O sets that are not included in the tool can have timing violations and the corresponding peripherals may not behave as expected.

I had just to check if some pin (gpio3_4, gpio1_20, gpio2_0) was able to be used as standard gpio for listen for some interrupts. I know the importance of use the official tool and thank you again for your answer
