Hi all,
I purchased TMDSSK3358 few days back. I am trying to connect it over ethernet using RSE in CCS5 (As per instruction given in docs). But it is not getting connected. It shows"Timed out" or "Socket can not be established". I have checked following things:
1. Ethernet cable is good.
2.Eth0 and Eth1 on board are working and when I connect cable to any of this port and run the command 'ethtool ethx' , it shows link detected as yes.
3.After the board boots up, eth0 is not assigned any ip address. So I assigned one using 'ifconfig eth0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx'. I have tried different ip addresses.
4. My host platform (Ubuntu 12.04) is detecting something attached to ethernet port.
If somebody knows solution for above please help me.
Also, last night when I was working on kit, it stopped working. I checked 5V power supply. It is OK. But now I am not even able to start it again. Power on LED is also not glowing after pressing Power ON button.
