Hi,

In my C6748 project, I'll use the usb module as a msc host under sys/bios 6.34. But BIOSUSB provided by Ti is based on dsp/bios 5, not support sys/bios 6.Known from the release note of RTFS 1.10.02.32, for sysbios 6, it should have BIOSUSB 2.00.00.01 as below,

Required Software for working with BIOS 6.x
- DSP/BIOS 6.21.01.16 or higher.
- EDMA 3 LLD 2.00.01.04 or higher.
- PSP (Platform Support Package) 2.00.01 or higher.
- BIOS USB 2.00.00.01 or higher.

Where can I get the BIOS USB 2.00.00.01 or higher?

The posted date is JUL 01 2010. It is very long time ago and I could not still find the version of BIOSUSB in

May be, TI rejected the release plan for BIOSUSB for SYS/BIOS...
Anyway, please wait for TI's answer for this.

Thank you for the reply.

I had already reviewed relate information what I can find, but have no ways to get BIOSUSB 2.00. In my project, I only need the hostmsc example, so I think the BIOSUSB 2.00 is fit to me,through the package only to run a specific example 'usbhostmsc' in the RTFS package.

I think also that TI maybe rejected the plan of BIOSUSB for SYS/BIOS.

Just an observation. From what I can see, BIOSUSB (any version) is not listed on any the processor pages. It used to be listed on the OMAP-L137 page. The TI Wiki still mentions it and the download page is still there. I would guess TI quietly discontinued it due to the negative response on this forum. Jungo appears to have also quietly stopped supporting it. Used to be some documentation download links.

We discontinued the BIOSUSB product because of various usability issues and removed the download. We don't have any replacement for the OMAP-L137. You could potentially consider the OMAP-L138 starterware, which contains USB support from a different source to Jungo. However note that this starterware is community support only.

Thanks for the "official" info". About 2 years ago, I was forced to use linux for USB support instead. About a year ago, I moved to a StarterWare base. Much faster than linux but much less robust. And fair bit of work to port from OMAP-L138 to OMAP-L137.
