SATA SSDs can't be recognized

Hello,

Does anyone have problems getting SATA III compatible SSDs to be recognized by the board?

We tried Kingston SV300S37A (SandForce SF-2281, the latest firmware) and Samsung 830 (Samsung MCX), none of them gets recognized.

Mechanical hard drives work OK.

Hi Ivan,

Can you confirm that the mechanical drives were SATA3 compatible as well?

Hi Boyko,

I can't, unfortunately I currently have no SATA3 mechanical drives at hand, only SATA2 (3.0 Gbps).

So that means you cant get the board to recognize any sata device at all, regardless of the sata type?

No no, like I said in the first post, mechanical SATA drives (SATA2 though) are recognized and working OK, but there are problems with SSD drives (which are working fine on the PC), so I don't know if it's driver or hardware problem.
