OMAP - USB EHCI, ULPI (PORT2) -- Error: unable to enumerate

Hi All,

we have configured EHCI for ULPI - 12pin - port2. We have a PHY SMSC3320 connected to this. There is an external hub connected to the PHY. We are curently using 2.6.27 kernel. But i have back ported the latest EHCI related patches from 2.6.32-rc8.

During boot up, I cannot see that our external hub getting enumerated. Instead i get either of the below two messages in different boots.

1. hub 1-0:1.0: port 2 not reset yet, waiting 200ms....... hub 1-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 2.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?

2. hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2

Our PHY takes 60 MHZ clock input and we can probe the same. I have pasted the logs which i am getting(sorry, its with all debug messages enabled).[I am sorry i couldnt see any attachment option for the port]

1. How do i ensure that our PHY is working?

2. I have taken ehci-omap.c completely and ported ehci related changes in board-omap3evm.c from 2.6.32-rc8. Is there any relavant ehci related code to be ported?

It will be really great if anybody can help me on this.
