Selecting a DDR2 SDRAM for TMS320C6748 based design

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6748

Hi!

I am new to this group .....just now i have joined.....I have worked with Analog device's processors specifically Blackfin

I have a new design with TMS320C6748 where i have to interface DDR2 SDRAM to it.....

I have read the basics of DDR2 SDRAM and i already working experience with SDRAM.....In selecting the DDR2 SDRAM i ahve some confuion....

In DDR2 there are so many types of clock signals are involved..like core clock ,I/O clock..etc

In processor data sheet for EMIFB clock frequency range they given as 125Mhz to 150Mhz...

i am pasting one para which i colected wen i am reading...

"

* DDR2-400: DDR-SDRAM memory chips specified to run at 100 MHz, I/O clock at 200 MHz
* DDR2-533: DDR-SDRAM memory chips specified to run at 133 MHz, I/O clock at 266 MHz
* DDR2-667: DDR-SDRAM memory chips specified to run at 166 MHz, I/O clock at 333 MHz
* DDR2-800: DDR-SDRAM memory chips specified to run at 200 MHz, I/O clock at 400 MHz

"

Here which clock i need to consider I/O clock which is 200,266,333,400 Mhz or another clock (core)-100,133,166,2000 mhz...

i am little bit poor in english...so, if u didn't understand anything please let me know.....

waiting for reply...
