I have 2 am3359 ice slaves connected in series and twincat on a pc as a master and running a PLC ethercat application and using code composer to first load the ethercat app. Whatever settings I try for the distributed clocks it refuses to work returning this error in twincat:
Error (65535) 30/07/2013 14:49:09 439 ms 'Box 1 (TIESC-001)' (1001): 'SAFEOP to OP' failed! Error: 'check device state for OP'. AL Status '0x0004' read and '0x0008' expected.
It's odd but increasing the base time in twincat makes the 2nd slave work correctly while the 1st slave has error led on. I've tried numerous settings but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Frank (if you answer that is)!
