[DM368 EVM] - Video loopback from LI-5M02 camera to LCD failed

 Dear All:

I was trying to run the video_loopback_dm368.x470MV on DM368 EVM with DVSDK_4_02_00_06 , but to output the video on LCD pannel failed.

How could I capture the video from LI-5M02 and display on LCD?

Here is the log messages:

  • Hello Justin,

The video standard is used primarily used for output.  So try to output to component first and see if that works. i.e.  ./video_loopback_dm368.x470MV -O component -I camera -y4

if this does not work then your capture input may not be correctly configured in bootargs.  You will have to reconfigure via setup script using minicom.

After you have got the above working then change display to LCD, you dont need to reconfigure bootags for this because only capture input type only need changing in bootargs.  I couldn't get LCD to display video working so I will be happy to know if we both have a common problem?  if yes, then would it mean that DM368 EVM LCD driver does not support video?  Note: upon inspection none of the pre-configured demo applications on GUI are able to output on LCD. Even the source code of Encode and Decode applications do not have LCD option.

    Regards
