Interfacing 1.8V operating CC2564 Bluetooth BLE IC to AM3352 using UART

Hi All!

We need ti interface CC2564 Bluetooth IC to AM3352 using the UART. But the CC2564 is operating at 1.8V. In the reference design given by TI Level shifters are used

Can i operate AM3352 UART to work at 1.8V range so that can i directly interface the CC2564 to AM3352 UART.

    If you review the datasheet of the AM3352, you will find that many of the I/Os will support either 1.8V or 3.3V operation.

    However, one caution is that this is not on an individual I/O basis.  The I/Os are supplied by a particular power rail which is designated in the Terminal I/O section of the datasheet.  Changing the supply voltage for a particular UART I/O will affect the supply voltage for other I/Os in that same power rail group.
