If a peripheral will never be used and I want to minimize power consumption, what should be done with it's power pins? For example I am using USB0 but not USB1. I am not using the SATA controller. Leave SATA_VDD and SATA-VSS unconnected. What for the VDDs for USB1?
It is possible to run the bank containing EMIF on the 6748 at 1.8V. I will take advantage of this feature. Unfortunately the JTAG is also in this power group "B" with the EMIF. The Emulators seem to run on 3.3V. Is there a preferred method for level translation across this interface? I notice the EMU[1:0] pins are bi-directional.
