Is Android ICS on OMAP3530 Available ??

Hi. Sorry for my poor English, I'm japanease.

I have OMAP3530 on mini board computer which is Gumstix Over Fire (https://www.gumstix.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=227).

I woud like to boot up Android ICS (4.0.3 later). I have searched & tried any tha way to boot up ICS, but all trying is not availabel to boot ICS.

I have reached that boot a Linux Kernel 3.x, but I have catch the erro at init for ICS.

is anybody know that ICS on Gumstix Overo Fire is avalable?

and, I want to know which the overo board is available for ICS, if Overo Fire(OMAP3530) cannot boot up ICS.

HI,

Can you try the source code from rowboat-ics.xml?

For OMAP3530, use OMAPES=4.x at the android build step

I think I may have tried the source code from rowboat-ics.xml (TI-Android-ICS-4.0.3-DevKit-3.0.0.xml).

I'm going to retry this manifest.

do you know how to set option for OveroFire? (e.g. config option, product-name, etc..)

Woud you tell me how to build for overo, if you have known.

Hi,

I tryed the rowbatd_ics.xml at rowboat repo. but my Gumstix have ever not boot the kernel.

I got the last message "kernel uncompressed" at display on Palo35.

Anybodyelse please tell me how to set the target option for Gumstix OverFire(OMAP3530).

Or, Please tell me the Possibility of booting Android ICS on Gumstix.

Rowboat kernel supports only omap3evm and BeagleBoard.

You could try adding gumstix support in the rowboat kernel to get it working.
