Hi there,

For quick performace/issue evaluation,

what are required to be implemented and integrated on the DM36x IPNC to

act as a USB webcam device supported by MS windows without install additional driver and app ?

Yulin,

DM36x IPNC already supports USB webcam use case. It supports UVC implementation.

Renjith,

"USB camera" should be more precise than "USB web camera".

After IPNC v4.0 is installed, the web camera functions.

However, after reset with the USB cable connected and the RJ45 cable removed, only a MSC (instead of a "USB camera") is detected in WinXP.

I didn't understand from your description what exactly is the issue. Do you mean that USB webcam works fine during cold boot and it doesn't work after reboot?

No, I mean I want to configure the IPNC to steam its video out to PC over USB rather than internet.

Yulin,

There is a USB Video class implementation which is supported in the IPNC stack. I'm not sure about the version of the stack, but I remember seeing the same before.
