Flashing MLO and Uboot from Linux ?!

Hi,

I wonder if its possible to flash u-boot.img and MLO from in Linux (e.g. nandwrite ...). I am doing a kinda of a firmware upgrade and might also require to upgrade boot-loader.

I understand there is a difference in terms of what ECC schemes are used and I wonder if such support exists in the kernel...

I have only tested writing the Linux kernel image and it works fine. I'm using AM335x EVM.

I am using similar commands to write my kernel image and I am sure it is not the same for u-boot and MLO. Haven't seen a word mentioned in that documentation about ECC specifics. The nandwrite command is probably using the default kernel/rootfs scheme settings, preset in the omap2 driver code. I doubt the kernel is dynamic enough to support both but I hope I'm mistaken...
