Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FLASHTOOL, AM3359

There is a user guide on "AM335x Flash Image Builder" and another on "AM335x Flash Programmer" and they talk about great tools, but I cannot find those tools anywhere. The link that is given is " http://www.ti.com/tool/flashtool" but it points to totaly different tool for different parts (FlashTool for AM35x, AM37x, DM37x and OMAP35x Devices).

I would really apreciate it if someone could give me a link to the good flashing tools for the AM335x.

The documents on Flash tools that I am talking about are the following:

They were last modified in June 2013. The last posts on this subjet seem to date from January 2013. I would also add that those new flashing tools are quite different from what I have used in the past with TI parts. I am used to the Windows based flashing tools with the Davinci parts, DM355 and DM365. With Davinci, the UBL was generate using CCS while now, the equivalent image, the MLO, is generate with the Linux side tools at the same time that you generate the u-boot.

The guides on those tools give very detailed instructions on how to use them. Someone must have put their hands on those! I will see if I can get access to Beta tools by contacting our TI rep. Our new boards based onthe AM3359 are due at the end of August and I hoped I would not have to use CSS to flash the new boards.
