Am3354 suspend is not working

and make sure you have the latest kernel and Cortex M3 firmware.

if i ran the command "echo standby > /sys/power/state" its showing

PM: Syncing filesystems ... done.

and its hanging after this but if i am pressing CTL+C getting as follows

Freezing user space processes ... (elapsed 0.01 seconds) done.
Freezing remaining freezable tasks ... (elapsed 0.01 seconds) done.
A8<->CM3 sync failure
Restarting tasks ... done.

Are you running Matrix application when doing the suspend test. If yes, kindly disable the same and test.

Hi,

I have seen in AM355x power management user guide that we can resume the device by UART keypress and touchscreen press. How can i resume the device through I2C keypad ? What modification i should do for this ?

Hi,
I tried system Wakeup from a peripheral via GPIO method using following commamds

   mkdir -p /debugfs
   mount -t debugfs debugfs /debugfs
   cd /debugfs/omap_mux/board/
   echo uart0_rxd.gpio1_10=0x27,rising > standby_gpio_pad_conf
   echo standby > /sys/power/state

The system is going to suspend mode and resuming with uart interrupt .
But if i am giving uart interrupt after some 10 seconds its not resuming from suspend mode.

Why it is not resuming from the suspend ?  Can anyone help me to solve this issue.

 i has the same problem; when running  command "echo standby > /sys/power/state" its hungs and  showing

"A8<->CM3 sync failure"  after  3 second ,

Hi Shine; 

I has Cortex M3 Firmware Version = 0x17, kernel version 3.2 the kernel did not support stanby mode but i applied a path to make it supporting standby  power management mode ( since i work with custom am335x based board ) , when booting i had this  error message:

Could not deassert the reset for WKUP_M3
[ 4.818572] Could not initialise WKUP_M3. Power management will be compromised
