DDR3 CK termination

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3359

I am designing board of am3359 with DDR3 x16

the am3359 is connected p2p with the DDR3

I wonder why in the am3359 the termination topology is two resistor of 50 ohm with one capacitor

does 100 ohm resistor between ck and ck_n at the ddr3 is not sufficient

by the way I saw that if I am using toplogy without termination there is no termination at all on ck

my question is :

Does 100 ohm resistor will do the work instead of two 50 ohm and cap?

by the way the ck line is about 1200 mil. (and 303Mhz)

To my humble opinion, anybody might want to check any out-of-specification option to see if it will do the work.

Your suggestion looks fine but hardly anybody will answer "yes, it will".

The hint is: in the BBB schematics I do not see these termination resistors at all. Not even one, 100 Ohm value.

    Do you?

(I have no BBB in hands, sorry, and cannot say if it actually is there on board)
