Ti SDK 6.0.0

Hello,

I am using BeagleboardXm along with the TiSDK 6.0.0 

I have loaded the image in SD card and my matrix app launcher is running correctly. 

My question is after booting I dont know what to do for 

/**************************/

beagleboard login : 

/**************************/

what will be the login  after that it is asking for password what should i do ? 

2nd question is can we run the qt4 application through this Ti-SDK  ? and remote debugging  ? 

Please forgive the mistakes considering as newbie

    Hi Nilesh,

    The login name with the TI-SDK is usually "root" with no password needed.

    Regarding your QT question I can only provide some useful wiki pages:

    do I have to install above mentioned packages?

    because "beabale login : root " is also asking for password 

    OR do i have to start again ?

    Hi,

    These messages have nothing to do with your issue. They have to do with package licensing information.

    Using the TI SDK rootfs, the "root" user should have no password. Please check the /etc/passwd file in the SDK rootfs on your SD card for this line (should be the first):

    root:x:0:0:root:/home/root:/bin/sh

    You probably have this "x" I have marked in red. Remove it, save the file and try again with the SD card. The first line should look like this:

    root::0:0:root:/home/root:/bin/sh

    If it still doesn't work, then please post the contents of the /etc/shadow file from your SDK rootfs.

    I have changed the etc/passwd file as you have suggested it is working perfectly.

    root::0:0:root:/home/root:/bin/sh
