Using internal M3 timer to generate frame request and strobe signal

I am looking to somehow generate a constant output signal for frame requests to send to the image sensor, and a strobe signal to send to an external flash from M3 VPSS.

Does the TCTRL module in ISS support this?

If not, has anyone tried implementing something similar?

Although I have not tried implementing it, I think you can use the TIMER output pin for this purpose.

Hi Rajat,

Is there another name for this pin? I've looked at SPRS821 and couldn't find it mentioned anywhere in the document, including the pin maps and assignments.

Can you check out 'Timer Terminal Functions' section.

The IOs are called TIM_IO.

Please search the datasheet for TIM2_IO,TIM3_IO,TIM4_IO,TIM5_IO,TIM6_IO and TIM7_IO.
