Dear All,
I want to move the edma lld driver far section to external but retaining default ".far" section in the L2SRAM. I experiment the same on the sample workspace "edma3_drv_bios6_tci6614_st_sample" by changing the linker.cmd . The following lines where added to the cmd file .
.fartextddr3: { *.*(.text:*EDMA3*) } > DDR3
.fardataddr3: { *.*(.fardata:*edma*) } > DDR3
.farconstddr3: { *.*(.const:*edma*) } > DDR3
.fartempddr3: { *.*(.text:*Ed*) } > DDR3
.fartempddr4: { *.*(.text:*edma*) } > DDR3
Even after the addtion of the above all the section are not getting moved to the DDR3 section . I see the below line in my map file
.far 0 00800000 0001b9d0 UNINITIALIZED
00800000 0000df40 edma3_lld_drv.ae66 : edma3_drv_init.oe66 (.far)
0080df40 00007a60 edma3_lld_rm.ae66 : edma3resmgr.oe66 (.far)
008159a0 000042e0 : edma3_rm_gbl_data.oe66 (.far)
I would like know what are these section and how to move them to DDR3? . I have attached both .map acnd .cmd files for reference.
