Changing the background colour on VOUT using OMX VFDC

Is there a way to change the background colour of a frame via the VFDC OMX component settings?

No. I want to change the background colour of the frame output over VOUT.

Assume the frame we are outputting is 1080p but we use a mosaic window so only a small part of it is filled. The rest is black. I want to be able to change the black to a different colour.

How do I do this?
