TMS320TCI6486 EMAC Bootloader

Hello,

I'm using the TMS320TCI6486 (Tomahawk) chip.

I encounter a problem during the EMAC bootloader. It seems that after I sent the program towards the DSP, the DSP is still somewhere in the bootloader code. Looking at the EMAC0 registers I saw that the RXGOODFRAMES counter register is '0'. Does it mean that no valid EMAC packets were received by the EMAC during the bootloader process?

How can I know at what stage of the bootloader the DSP is at? Are there any registers or memory addresses I can read in order to detect problems or errors which occurred during the bootloader process?

I couldn't find any reference to the bootloader source files and symbols which I can use in order to debug this problem.

I would appreciate your quick response.

Thanks in advance,

Elad.
