DSP C66/ARM to Xilinx VC709 connection

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: 66AK2H06

Hello,

I am looking to build a demonstrator using an Xilinx VC709 card plus a DSP EVM plus ADC & DAC cards.

The DSP should support both ARM and C66 (I'm looking at 66AK2H06).

I need a bandwidth around 200 MBytes/sec between the SoC and FPGA.

The ADC & DAC cards currently plug on to the only FMC connector on the VC709.

I could:

a) use hyperlink on the FMC and build a new adaptor card translating the VC709 PCIe connector to FMC connectors for the ADC/DACs.

b) build a new hyperlink connection using the PCIe connector rather than FMC

c) switch to PCIe or SRIO using the PCIe connector and build the control interface internal the FPGA from there.

The control interface isn't the emphasis of the project so I'm looking for something that is close to finished.

Any suggestions?  Do you have PCIe to vbus FPGA code by chance?

Thanks,
Lars Jorgensen
