I am using my laptop to work from home during the winter break. I have an EVM TMS320 DM6437 Davinci board. However, I am having problems with the driver that was provided. The CCS is not able to connect to the board.
I am using CCS Setup to check the setup indicating that CCS is using a XP driver.
When I start CSS this is what I get:
Windows Vista: "Found New Hardware": Windows needs to install driver software for your TMS320C64Plus Target.Vista fails to find a driver and I will provide the the location of the driver "C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers\": I get the message: "Windows was unable to install your TMS320C64Plus Target".
I was informed that my DVD did not have a complet CCS 3.3 - since it was installed from the CD included in Davinci EVM.
I hope someone can help me out. Thank you for your time and consideration. It is very much appreciated.
I will take this opportunity to wish you all a Mary Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
Regards,
