Can Dm8168 support external sync video display

Hi all:

Here I have question about that Can Dm8168 support external sync video display,

I see the external sync video display option in dvr_rdk 3.50, but i do not find input display pin to receive

external sync signal to display like dm642,

Can it be used in this way?

Hi,

Not sure about the DM642, but dm8168 can definately output external sync signals, these signals are hsync, vsync and de/actvid.

what do you mean about definetly output external sync signals?
are you sure output not input ?

I just want to know that if the video display sync signal pin can be get from external video encoder
from one of dm8168 pin, as its display video display sync signal,
not use embedded video display sync signal

The output video cannot be synchronized to an external sync input. the video output is always master.
