Sensor interface question.

Hi All,

HW: DM365

SW: dvsdk_4_00_00_19

I am looking to interface a RAW sensor to DM365 board.
What I got to know from the Manufacturer is that, sensor is not having any on board clocking facility.  So we need to use some clock from DM365 as input to sensor. Then only Sensor will be up and will start accepting the I2C command and communication. But I am not sure how to clock Sensor from DM365.

Appreciate any help on  this.

  • Ravikiran,

I think what the manufacturer meant was to supply the reference clock which is in the order of 10 - 30 Mhz. Typically it can be provided by the DM365 clockout or any other xtal oscillator on the board (main board).

I am not aware of the dvsdk software base and your hardware platform, however if you can refer to the APPRO DM365 IPNCs they have similar implementation of supplying reference clock from the main board to the sensor board.

    Regards
