how to enable two displays with different resolutions in dm814x

Hi,

We are working on a DM8148 custom Board. We are connecting two displays 15" and 12" with resolutions 1280x800 and 800x600 respectively.

we have a qt application which is running on our board.

Currently we are using fb0 and graphics pipeline 0.

we want to get the application running on both the displays with different resolutions simultaneously on HDMI and DVO2.

please help us in resolving this issue.

Hi Kiran,

You may need to tie the VENCs to get this done.

but it expects the timings to be same for VENCs

Hi,

You will need to find the support for this in your application, such that it should be able to display on multiple fb devices with different resolution. From DM8148 point of view, there could be multiple fbdev getting displayed on multiple outputs with different resolutions.
