Cross serial port UART pins

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hello,

I'm using LogicPD OMAP-L138 SOM-M1 with CCS5 to connect my PC to the board via serial port (uart).

I'm able to send and receive info from/to the board, but only when I cross pins number 2 and 3 of the 9-pin RS232 connector.

I verified that both my PC and the board use pin #2 for RX and pin #3 for TX, so connecting a serial cable between the two does not work, as they both send and receive on the same pin. I know there are crossover cables which cross these two pins, but I was wondering if there is any way to configure the board such that RX will be on pin #3 and TX on pin #2?

If not, is there any other way to connect my PC to the board without using a crossover cable?

Thanks in advance,

Matan
