TI Sitara SK Serial Communication

Objective: Communicate with the TI Sitara SK Serially.

I have installed a android-serialport-api on the Starter kit. The application detects the following serial ports

  1. ttyGSx (0-3)
  2. ttyOx (0-5)
Questions:
  1. Is the ttyGSx serial port for the TI sitara SK?
  2. On the start kit UART0 is connected to the FDTI chip. Thus how can I get the data to show up on the ubuntu minicom console.
Appreciate the help.
  • Please try to give detailed information of your need. What kind of device you need to communicate from AM335x_sk kit and what kind of protocol data you are going to handle?

there is UART header in SK kit to communicate with serial device. and also there is USB host to communicate with USB devices.

Everything is available in SK kit for your communication, if your question is clear to everyone surly you will get plenty of information here.

    Cheers
