AM335x UART Clock

Dear All

The default value of functional clock  for UART on AM335x is 48MHz.

I want to change this frequency to 55.4MHz.

But max frequency is 48MHz which is written at Table19-4,5 in TRM.

As fact, Does AM335x work the block which is related with PER_CLKOUTM2 at 55.4MHz?

    PER_CLKOUTM2 is the CLKOUT output of the ADPLLLJ, which outputs 192MHz by default. If you change the ADPLLLJ settings, so that a different frequency is output, this will affect almost all AM335X peripherals and most of them will stop functioning or not function properly.
