Malfunction in rootfs compilation on android ICS for Beagleboard XM

Hai

I'm Sekra here.I compiled the android ICS for beagleboard XM.I compiled MLO,uboot,uImage problerly its get booting fine but the rootfs compilation works but it gets the file unsuccessfully.

In my android source directory,the root partition directory--->out/target/product/beagleboard/

In root directoty the folders were follows-data,dev,proc,sbin,sys,system.

files are-default.prop

Some of the files were missing in this folder.such as init,init.rc such that things.i didn't know why?????

I installed all the tools,dependencies too

I believe you need to build those tools separately. You should check out following site: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/

I compiled the tools for ANDROID ICS root file system.i done the compilation for the tools separately.such as JAVA JDK,git,python,make.

I downloaded separately and installed separately but it missed some files during compilation.

Ah, you want to use android default programs. The names are different than in "clean" Linux:

http://elinux.org/Android_Booting#.27init.27

Hope you will find the files. If they are not there maybe they failed to build?
