Evaluation of StarterWare

Hi,

IAR and beaglebone are used for evaluation.

Step1:

Use DMTimer project for test. There will be a string displayed on the Hyperterminal.

Step2:

Same setting for Hyperterminal. The use Uart project for test. There will be nothing displayed on the Hyperterminal. What is the wrong?

Hi Jeffrey,

Can you share some more details about the behavior you are observing.

1: Are you observing CCC character on the hyperterminal when you connect the beaglebone using mini USB cable?

2: Is this behavior limited to UART project from the StarterWare? Can you try any other projects like GPIO,RTC and verify their behavior?

3: Also, you could try loading the UART binary using a SD card with the bootloader provided in the package.
