Hi all,

I would like to know whether the AM1808 have Aptina Camera (MT9P031I12STC) sensor support is available or not???

I am using tft parallel 24 bit LCD module and using Aptina Camera module. Please confirm AM1808 have both the LCD + Camera support is there or not?

Please if it supports please let us know with your latest Camera supported sdk drivers for TI AM1808.

Yes,the AM1808 supports the sensor(MT9V032 aptina sensor in EVM) and LCD.

For software download: Go to LogicPD's web site. Click on the Kit Contents tab, at the bottom of the page click at: AM1808 SOM-M1 GEL, CCS Setup, & BSL Files - you will need to create an account in their website if you do not have one already and download the files.

A UI card is included with the Development kit and enables additional peripherals as mentioned below,

LCD Controller (Raster Mode, LIDD Mode)
Camera (image sensor)
Video Port Interface (composite, S-Video)

Hi,

I am not using character LCD over here, we are using TFT 24bit LCD which is multiplexed with VPIF ports pins.

Our LCD is running, when I add vpif driver then my LCD becomes green i.e. it is not showing any icons on the LCD screen.

I have already used the Aptina driver and tested it seems my LCD is not working. Find attached Linux driver configuration.

Your attached file is missing.
Active (TFT) mode:
1. LCD_PCLK continuously toggles as long as the Raster Controller is enabled.
2. This signal acts as an output enable (OE) signal. It is used to signal the external
LCD that the data is valid on the data bus (LCD_D[15:0]).

TFT Supports the following Bits Per Pixel(BPP) on AM1808
1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 BPP
